Internet of Things

By connecting devices, IoT connects the world. Sources of information are all around us: smartphones, computers, various machines and "ordinary" sensors. From the sea of data collected from these sources, only the useful ones need to be analyzed. Our tools allow truly useful data to be extracted and articulated.

The importance and reach of IoT is growing thanks to the Building Blocks Strategy, supported by our extensive knowledge in this area and significant investments in its development. Regardless of business, device, sensor, time or place — IoT is the solution.

Internet of Things (IoT) technologies allow companies to expand their business beyond the core industry, digitally transform their products and business processes. IoT opens the door to new business models and represents a great opportunity to add value to a company's ecosystem.

Telemetric system architecture

TeleModule is a device that sends collected data from a remote location over the network (transport layer) to the TeleCenter. The TeleModule contains a microcontroller with an integrated communication module, as well as a data acquisition part with ports for connecting sensors. It communicates with TeleCenter via web services and TCP/IP internet protocol in the form of XML packets. Due to the importance of data security during transmission via the web service, data level encryption has been implemented. The maximum transmission speed in the standard package with GPRS communication is 64 kbit/s.

Transport layer

The TeleCenter application, together with the server on which it is located, is the core of the system. The server part of the application collects data from an unlimited number of TeleModules, processes them and stores them permanently on several physically remote servers, which guarantees greater data security. When it needs to be displayed, the data is accessed simply through an internet browser or the user's mobile application. In order to further manipulate the data, the application allows displaying the collected data tabularly or graphically in one of the standard formats (Excel, CSV, PDF) or, if necessary, using already installed third-party software. An additional security measure, when the defined critical parameters of the system are reached, is to send a warning to the user via e-mail, SMS or push message (in the case of the user's mobile application).

TeleClient is an application that provides access to information collected in the TeleCenter via the web, mobile devices or web access that is compatible with mobile devices. Within the application, it is possible to define different roles and levels of access rights.
